Beekeeping has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but in 2017 Salaj Beekeeping truly rose to a new level.
Since then, the number of our hives has grown continuously — today we proudly care for around 380 hives.
With careful attention and dedication, I ensure that our bees collect only the finest nectar, so the honey we offer is always of the highest quality and 100% organic.
Depending on the pastures and the season, we produce different varieties of local honey such as sage honey, meadow honey, heather honey, and chestnut honey. Alongside honey, we also offer bee products like royal jelly, propolis, pollen, and beeswax.
Beekeeping is a delicate art that requires patience, skill, and daily care. Every step — from checking the hives to ensuring the health of the bees and the purity of the honey — is important.
For me, beekeeping is not just a profession — it is my life’s passion. I spend my days with the bees, learning from them, and sharing that knowledge with others.
That is why I am always happy to welcome visitors to our fields. You can walk among the hives, see how the bees work, learn about their life, and discover the processes behind making honey and other bee products.
It’s a hands-on experience that brings you closer to nature, shows the care required for quality honey, and allows you to taste the results of this hard work firsthand.
And yes — believe it or not, I am allergic to bees! But that has never stopped me from loving them and dedicating my life to this craft of care and devotion.
